MY JOURNEY

From pharmacy counter to analytics dashboards

Two years as a Registered Pharmacist taught me precision, compliance and dealing with real people. Now I bring that same discipline to data — cleaning, modelling and visualising it into dashboards that support real decisions.

Worked as a Registered Pharmacist — prescription verification, inventory and stock management, customer counselling and strict regulatory compliance. Every day was about accuracy, record-keeping and process discipline: the same skills that power clean data workflows.

    Step 1 — Understand the Data

    Before touching any tool, I first understand the business problem: what question needs to be answered, what each column means and what outcome is expected. This defines the direction of analysis.

    Raw data is often messy. I handle missing values, duplicates, inconsistent formats, outliers and incorrect data types with Python or Excel, so analysis begins with a reliable foundation.

    Step 3 — Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)

    I examine distributions, correlations, trends and anomalies. This is where patterns emerge and useful hypotheses are formed before focused analysis begins.

    With clean data and EDA complete, I use segmentation, aggregations, KPI calculations and trend analysis to answer the business questions set out in Step 1.

    Numbers alone do not convince. I build interactive Power BI dashboards and visualizations with Matplotlib and Seaborn that tell a clear story for technical and non-technical audiences.
